Dr. Akshay Parmar

Dr. Akshay Parmar, BDS, DDS, MDSc, FACP, Associate FAAMP, is an American board-certified prosthodontist and implantologist with over 10 years of clinical experience specializing in surgical and restorative prosthodontics. He has extensive expertise in full-mouth reconstructions, maxillofacial prosthetics—including the rehabilitation of trauma, congenital defects, and cancer-related reconstructions—and implant dentistry, providing comprehensive care with a focus on both aesthetics and function.

Dr. Parmar serves as a clinical faculty member in the Graduate Prosthodontic Program at NYU College of Dentistry, where he mentors and trains residents in advanced prosthodontic and implant procedures. He completed his fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, focusing on oncologic patient rehabilitation, and earned his Master of Dental Science from UConn School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Parmar is dedicated to delivering excellence in patient care and contributing to the advancement of prosthodontics through education and research.
